ROSWELL, an alternative rock band born in Linares in late 2016, draws inspiration from bands like Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, and Alter Bridge. With a powerful sound, heavy chords, and strong rhythms, they blend British soul with the rawest American style.
The band is composed of Juan Luis Jiménez, Pedro J. Herrera, Jesús Montalbán, and Sergio Orta.
They have released several recordings:
Their first EP, “ROSWELL”, released in 2019, features five songs with distinct personalities, serving as both their calling card and statement of intent.
In 2022, after the forced hiatus due to COVID-19, they released “SENSELESS UNIVERSE”, the band’s first full-length album. Self-produced and mastered at Cadizfornia Studios, the seven-track LP firmly established Roswell as a rising force in today’s rock scene.

Their latest work marks a significant leap in quality and professionalism.
For the recording and mixing of their newest album, “Sounds From Distant Life,” they collaborated with renowned producer Txosse Ruiz at Wheel Sound Studio (Barcelona), where the band solidified their sound across seven new tracks.
To master the album, the band traveled to London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios, where Alex Wharton (The Beatles, The Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, among others) put the final polish on the LP’s sound.

From the most iconic clubs in his hometown to national-level competitions, Roswell continues to tour across the country.
Thanks to their win in the RockFM Band Competition, Roswell was recognized as the Best Band in the Province in 2023.
Notable performances include venues such as La Mecánica (Jaén) and Café Teatro Central (Baeza), as well as appearances at emerging festivals like IznaRock (Granada), OleoRock Fest (Torredonjimeno), CharcaRock (Pegalajar), and CreArte Linares.
In 2025, they are touring in support of their new album, “Sounds From Distant Life,” with shows planned in cities including Seville, Barcelona, and Madrid, among others.
